Human Question #6: The Kindness of Strangers

Before answering the next Human Question, take a moment and read Charles Reznikoff’s poem, “During the Second World War.” This is not practice for any Regents or test…it is simply a poetic anecdote that might get you thinking about the theme of kindness in your life.

Human Question: Share a time when you, without thinking, were kind to a stranger. What did you do? How did it make you feel? Reflect on the experience.

(And please, please, please, please don’t tell me you’ve never been “kind” to a stranger!)
