THE BEGINNING OF THE END

This being the last nine months of your high school careers, there has to be some unconscious self-reflection going on. Think. (pause) Listen. (pause) Look inward. (pause, and imagine eerie sounds) Then begin asking yourself: Where did this academic life of mine begin? Can you even remember? Where am I now compared to, say, four years ago? What have I learned? How am I smarter? More experienced? And most importantly, am I prepared (or preparing myself) for the next phase of my life?

What you need to do for your first post is embrace the state of radical change that you are presently going through, and really begin thinking about who you are and what you want out of the future.

Important to remember: This is not an essay – the student is not required to write this blog. Use the human writer, not the student writer. Relax and enjoy yourself.
