Freedtopia

….it just might exist

ST Reflection

The purpose for writing a Senior Talk Reflection is to increase your understanding of yourself as an individual and as a learner. This reflective blog post is not only a direct response to your Senior Talk, but it also exists as an examination of how you’ve grown over your senior year – even the past four years in high school – and what you will take with you as you move forward.

Through carefully selected ideas and details, reflect upon your Senior Talk experience. Your blog post should be thoughtful, honest, complete, concise, following ALL rules of proper grammar and spelling, and be no fewer than 500 words in length and no longer than 700.

Directions: Reflect on your Senior Talk experience. Your blog post should be thoughtful, honest, complete, concise, following ALL rules of proper grammar and spelling, and be no fewer than 500 words in length.

In your Reflective Blog Post you will need to

  • describe the connection between what you wanted to learn and share through this project and what you actually learned and shared.
  • explain how your Senior Talk idea connects to your plans beyond high school – if it does not, explain how and why you settled on a topic that has no real relevance in your life outside this classroom.
  • share what you enjoyed most about the overall process – also share what you enjoyed least!
  • write about one thing from the project you feel will truly benefit you after you graduate.

  • finally share some advice to future students regarding how to give an informative, inspirational, and overall successful Senior Talk (and like this bullet, separate that segment of your blog post and title it “Advice to Future Seniors”).

* Remember: No late posts will be accepted. Please submit by May 30.
